Washington County approves multiple appropriations, including $691,020.87 for engineer capital; approves transfers including $228,118 from budget stabilization

Commissioner Eddie D. Place moved to approve the listed additional appropriations and Commissioner Ronald G. Nohe seconded; the roll call recorded unanimous 'aye' votes from President Charlie L. Schilling and the two commissioners. The approved appropriations in the record include: Jail $19,799.00; Sewer accounts $65,000.00 and $13,000.00; Devola Sewer Project $154,399.51; Engineer Capital $691,020.87; and Common Pleas TCAP $8,000.00. Taken together, the listed appropriations total $951,219.38 as entered into the record.
The board also approved several transfers. Of note, the minutes record a $228,118.00 transfer from the Budget Stabilization account to a Devola-related account (line 1004-30-100-580200 to 5118-24-102-424000) and a number of smaller transfers among sheriff, sewer, soil & water and Family & Children First accounts. Commissioner Place moved and Commissioner Nohe seconded the transfers, which passed unanimously.
The commissioners approved the agenda and the prior meeting's minutes by unanimous votes at the start of the session. The list of bills for payment was likewise approved and remains on file in the commissioners' office, per the record.
