Allen County commissioners unanimously approve ARPA payments, contracts and dispatching agreement

The Board of Allen County Commissioners unanimously approved a set of resolutions on Feb. 26 allocating ARPA funds, awarding a construction contract for developmental-disabilities projects, and authorizing an intergovernmental dispatching agreement.
Commissioner Brian Winegardner moved and Commissioner Cory Noonan seconded a resolution authorizing allocation and encumbrance of unrestricted ARPA funds from the ARPA Fund 2893 and issuance of payment to the Administration Building Capital Fund 4022 for All Temp Refrigeration & Plumbing (Pay App 4); the board approved it unanimously. Commissioner Cory Noonan moved and Commissioner Beth Seibert seconded a separate ARPA payment to Koester Electric, Inc. (Pay App 5); that resolution also passed unanimously.
The board accepted a bid from Armcorp Construction, Inc. for miscellaneous projects for the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Commissioner Winegardner moved to approve the contract, which the minutes state is not to exceed $1,150,882.50 (architect fees excluded); Commissioner Noonan seconded and the resolution passed unanimously.
The board also approved an agreement between the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Mayor for the City of Delphos for safety services dispatching. Commissioner Beth Seibert moved to approve the dispatching agreement and Commissioner Brian Winegardner seconded; the measure passed unanimously.
Finally, the board amended a contract between the Department of Job and Family Services and Croy’s Mowing, increasing the contract by $604 for additional mowing; Commissioner Cory Noonan moved and Commissioner Beth Seibert seconded and the amendment was approved unanimously.
