Staff and the commission agreed it was most logical to postpone the full presentation and any final action until the notice issue is resolved. "We are going to extend the public hearing into the next meeting in June," the chair stated, and the commission left the record open so members of the public who speak tonight would not automatically be able to speak again when the hearing resumes.
The applicant was not present at the May 6 meeting. Commissioners and staff indicated they will schedule the item for the next regular meeting after public-notice requirements are satisfied.
