The commission approved routine agenda items and recorded several outcomes during the meeting.
A motion by Mayor Pro Tem Tim Turner to approve the regular minutes from April 20, 2026, was seconded by Commissioner Fields and carried on a unanimous roll call. Turner also moved to approve the accounts payable listing; that motion was supported by Commissioner at-large Isom and carried. The consent calendar was approved on a motion by Mayor Pro Tem Turner and support from Commissioner Warren.
The mayor announced that the State of the City program will be held on 05/19/2026; doors open at 6:30 p.m., the program runs 7-8 p.m., and a social will follow from 8 to 9 p.m. The meeting adjourned on a motion by Commissioner Fields supported by Mayor Pro Tem Tim Turner; roll call was affirmative.
All recorded motions at tonight's meeting were carried; no ordinance adoptions, appointments or formal policy changes were made during this session.
