The Village of Hales Corners Plan Commission on March 16 approved a certified survey map (CSM) to divide parcel 656-9961-004 and attach 50 feet of the adjacent lot to the applicant's property.
Robert Elertson, who identified himself as the applicant and gave his address as 5420 S. 124th St., told the commission he sought approval to divide his neighbor Gary Kurtz's lot at 12220 W. Luther Ave. and attach a 50-foot strip to his property. Chair D. Besson asked whether Elertson intended to develop the added land; Elertson said he did not.
The motion to approve the CSM was made by Commissioner A. Fritz and seconded by Commissioner C. Stipe; the commission voted 7-0 to approve the map. Chair D. Besson said the CSM approval by the Plan Commission is a recommendation and that the request will go to the Village Board for final approval.
The approved action alters property boundaries between two private lots in Hales Corners and will be handled at the next Village Board meeting for final acceptance. No conditions or amendments were recorded in the Plan Commission minutes.
