"We are looking to raise 6,000,000 to complete this project," the presenter said, adding that a donor team is in place and the group expects to begin work and open parts of the park in the summer of 2027. The presenter asked the council to permit periodic updates to the city on fundraising progress.
Council members thanked the presenters and encouraged them to return with updates; the presentation was received as informational and no formal council action was taken at the meeting.
