The Village of Hales Corners Committee of the Whole on April 13 voted unanimously to forward a package of administrative and public-works items to the Village Board for approval.
Administrator Sandra Kulik reported a request to close special revenue funds for a health grant that are no longer in use, and the Committee voted to forward that recommendation. The Committee also approved forwarding an administrative fee to place delinquent fire inspection invoices on the tax roll, and an update to authorized check signatures prompted by the retirement of Chief Cera. Kulik presented a consolidated pay-plan resolution to incorporate recent changes; the Committee voted to forward that as well.
The Committee recommended approval of two massage therapy licenses for Fluid Movements Massage & Aquatic Bodyworks at 5319 S. 108th. In public-works business, the Committee voted to forward a $75,000 change order request for the Hales Happiness Water Project (raSmith) and two MJ Construction change orders (Change Order 2 for $113,105.25 and Change Order 3 for $107,928.00). Motions on these items passed unanimously in committee; the Village Board will consider final approval.
