"If June 30 date's accurate and then we've got a date certain that we're dealing with," legal counsel said, "we can provide the number of days later after Mister Swims has an opportunity to actually perform that calculation." Engineering staff and board members agreed; a motion to approve the city engineer's recommendation reflecting the June 30 date was seconded and passed.
The approved action revises the project's completion date to June 30, 2026; staff said they would provide the calculated total contract days in a follow-up calculation.
