The box includes a brief instructional video and is priced at about $150 each, she said.
Public Health noted a cannabis‑substance‑use‑prevention grant that has rollover dollars available through June 30 and said staff could buy boxes now and continue work on a county policy for AED‑storage placement. Commissioners supported drafting a policy, vetting it through the safety committee, and fast‑tracking any grant revision necessary to spend the funds before the deadline.
