Owner-Occupied Rehab project about 80% complete; commissioners approve related contractor claims

At the Sept. 22 meeting the commissioners reviewed and approved a number of claims tied to the OOR program. The claims docket and emergency claims lists included multiple vendor payments presented for approval. Vendors and amounts listed in the minutes include, among others, Dave's Heating & Cooling (multiple entries totaling tens of thousands across several listed claims), Mooreland Roofing & Construction LLC, Mustard Seed Remodeling, All Circuit Electrical LLC and Air X‑Ray; the minutes record motions to approve the claims by Doug Horn with unanimous commissioner support where recorded.
Commissioners also authorized a department to submit a claim to reimburse the Rush County Tractor Club for mileage related to a training course. The meeting record shows the board approved the payroll docket, the claims docket and the emergency claims with motions carried unanimously.
