Stakeholders raise concerns about DOSH settlements and HR-86; board hears public comment

Aaron Jackson, the Board’s Chief Counsel, told the Board that staff counsel have reviewed transcripts from the Stakeholder Roundtable and discussed the items related to their units. Public commenters asked about DOSH’s position on settling matters that involve serious or accident-related citations and about HR-86; the Board addressed those questions and noted settlement conferences in light of Administrative Law Judge Kevin Reedy’s upcoming retirement.
