Wyoming Senate fails to override two gubernatorial vetoes

Both override attempts were conducted under Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution, which the presiding officer noted requires a two-thirds majority to succeed. Senators who supported the overrides cast their votes during the roll calls but did not meet the supermajority threshold; opponents voted to sustain the governor's vetoes.
The day’s action concluded with the clerk formally reporting the outcomes. No amendments to either bill were adopted on the floor during these proceedings, and no further votes on these measures were taken before adjournment.
