Enoch City Council approved Resolution Number 2026-04-15 on April 15 to sponsor the Cedar Valley Water Festival at the $500 level.
Council Member Kimberlee Trower outlined sponsorship tiers ($100, $250, $500, $1,000) and requested the city include festival information in its newsletter. Council Member Jacob Miner emphasized the importance of public education about water-use differences between agricultural and residential users and supported robust sponsorship. Treasurer Ashley Horton said staff could identify funds in the budget if the council directed it.
Before the vote, Council Member David Harris disclosed his role as chairman of the Water Conservancy District and confirmed he had no personal financial interest; City Attorney Wayment advised that disclosure was sufficient and that Harris could participate in the vote. Council Member Harris moved to sponsor at the $500 level; Council Member Jacob Miner seconded and the council voted unanimously in favor.
The festival is to be held at Main Street Park; staff will publicize the event and coordinate booth participation as budget and staffing allow.
