CCRPC committee recommends FY22 officer slate, announces racial equity committee appointments and May Board EV presentation

The CCRPC Executive & Finance Committee on April 7, 2021, reviewed governance recommendations and the draft May Board agenda.
Andy Montroll told members the Board Development Committee had proposed a slate of officers for FY22: Catherine McMains as Chair, Chris Shaw as Vice Chair, John Zicconi as Secretary/Treasurer, Jacki Murphy as At-large for towns over 5,000, Bard Hill as At-large for towns under 5,000, and Mike O’Brien to remain as Immediate Past Chair.
Chair Mike O’Brien announced appointments to the Racial Equity Committee, naming Justin Rabidoux, Elaine Haney, Jacki Murphy, and CCRPC staff members Bryan Davis and Emma Vaughn to the committee.
Charlie Baker reviewed the draft May Board agenda, noting the Board will be warned for a vote on the Draft FY22 UPWP and Budget, will consider Equity Leadership Team and Board Development recommendations, and will host a VTrans presentation on electric vehicles and charging stations; VTrans staff David Roberts and Daniel Dutcher were invited to participate. Staff will attach the TAC project list for VTrans scoring to the Board packet. John Zicconi requested assurance the VTrans presentation will include information on charging stations.
No executive session was held, and John Zicconi noted he will be absent from the May Executive Committee meeting.
