Resident asks Plumas County for Genesee Valley plan documents, alleges property impact

The commenter asserted that comments at a prior meeting (3/19/2026) suggested her entire parcel had been included in a scenic area designation and said she believes statutory protections for agricultural land use (the Williamson Act was mentioned) require formal procedures and written findings.
Chair acknowledged the comment and said staff would draft a factual response for the record and follow up with available documentation; staff offered to meet after the session to exchange contact information and search the relevant emails and records.
The commission did not take action on the request during the meeting; staff said they would include the comment and any associated records in the public record and follow up with the commenter.
