The Eastvale City Council introduced Andrew Asencio as the city’s new code enforcement officer during the March 11 meeting.
City staff highlighted Asencio’s background, saying he earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from California State University, San Bernardino, previously worked in Moreno Valley and Palm Desert as a code enforcement officer, and served as a police cadet in Riverside. "He's excited to bring this passion, energy, and wisdom to his new role," staff said. Asencio offered brief remarks and said he makes himself available to residents.
Council posed no substantive questions and posed for a brief photo with the new officer. Staff said they look forward to Asencio contributing to code enforcement and community engagement in Eastvale.
