"We believe we have reached peak enrollment in the district, and we are now going to see a steady decline in enrollment," said Jessie Baron, Coordinator, Facilities Planning, during the presentation on enrollment projections and development-driven student generation. Baron said the district will fold improved capture rates and recent birth‑data trends into the projection models but cautioned the small size of incoming cohorts means outgoing high‑school classes will not be fully replaced for some years.
