Parent asks Princeton board to allow homeschooled students to take up to two classes

Solomon said fees associated with supplies and lab work are reasonable and that many homeschool families would welcome the opportunity to participate if the rules and processes were clear. She urged the board to start the policy-development process promptly because crafting a thorough policy and completing the multiple readings required by board procedure can take time; delaying would risk missing another school year for eligible students.
Her request was made during the public-comment portion of the meeting; no immediate board action or motion to draft a policy was recorded in the public portion of the meeting.
