Rules Committee approves resolution allowing secretary to appoint interim desk officers

The Rules and Administration Committee approved Senate Resolution 130, a proposed update to the Senate's interim operating rules, and directed staff to prepare the resolution for floor consideration.

After discussion, the committee approved the resolution by voice vote and directed staff to produce the resolution for the floor.
