County Manager Meadow Forget told commissioners staff will need to improve back‑end accounting before adding an app for reservations and deposits. Commissioners discussed possible revenue from organized, professional advertising in arena spaces and directed staff to examine procurement and permit requirements for any electrical or plumbing work associated with larger fairgrounds projects.
The road closure and fairgrounds purchase were recorded by roll call with Commissioners Paul Grrider, Roy Lee Criswell, Tina Dixon, Malin Parker and Fabian Munoz voting Yes on both motions. The commission did not take further action on broader pavilion renovations at this meeting.
