The Southwick-Tolland-Granville Regional School Committee recorded several routine approvals at its May 4 meeting.
Motions approved by unanimous vote (7–0–0) included adoption of the consent agenda; approval of the superintendent's agreement related to cafeteria workers; noncontract salary increases; and a revised paraprofessional special-education job description. The committee also approved posting the superintendent-subcommittee interview questions and directed administration to make the packet available to the public ahead of candidate interviews.
The committee discussed but did not finalize the proposed AP exam procedure; that item was tabled for two weeks to allow time for public review and for administration to post the proposed language. No contracts or new budgets requiring multi-town approvals were adopted at the meeting.
Summary of recorded outcomes • Consent agenda — motion passed, tally 7–0–0. • Superintendent’s agreement (cafeteria) — motion passed, tally 7–0–0. • Noncontract salary increases — motion passed, tally 7–0–0. • Paraprofessional special-education job description — motion passed, tally 7–0–0. • Superintendent subcommittee interview questions — motion passed to post, tally 7–0–0.
The committee scheduled follow-up on the AP procedure at its next meeting and asked administration to provide posted material and fiscal details in advance of the vote.
