McAlester — At its April meeting the City Council adopted a five‑year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and approved a package of infrastructure contracts aimed at water, sewer and parks improvements.
CIP adoption: Staff presented the statutory requirement to adopt the CIP and highlighted that while the plan lists numerous projects, the city faces funding constraints.
