He announced that the foundation wished to recognize Officer Cody Richardson, who served in the United States Army from 2011 to 2019, and presented the quilt as an expression of gratitude.
Mayor and commissioners joined in recognizing Richardson and took a photo after the presentation. The ceremony was a non-policy item and did not require board action.
