The board also authorized the district to post notice for two consecutive weeks of its intent to submit an opportunity-fund waiver, which the district said would give flexibility to target funds toward its most struggling students and families. Dr. Dorsey moved the waiver-posting motion, which passed by voice vote.
Board president PQ reminded the public the school board election is on May 12 and that three seats are up for election. The meeting adjourned after a final motion and voice vote.
