The City Commission authorized a purchase order package to TD Thompson Construction Inc. to remove and replace damaged sidewalks in Regency Oak, Daniels Crossing and on both sides of Daniels Road for a total of $224,649.64.
Public Works staff described the scope: roughly 7,648 square feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk and 3,970 square feet of 10-foot sidewalk, including removal, replacement, root pruning, grading and sod repair. Staff said the locations were identified after field review and resident reports; the contract is with a city on-call (push-button) contractor and reflects prices from that program.
Commissioners approved the purchase unanimously. Staff said the work will proceed under standard construction inspection and scheduling processes.
