A motion to provide a $2,000 contribution to Springville High School was made by Ms. Hennings and seconded by Mr. Bosworth; the council approved the contribution by voice vote. The abstaining council member was recorded in the meeting before the vote.
Williams thanked the council for its consideration and the booster club said it would proceed with travel planning and use donations already pledged.
