At the start of its April 27 meeting the Chelsea Planning Commission received a pre‑zone request for approximately 17 acres on Bresher Lane (Case 20260427001RZ) submitted on behalf of Mr. Patel. Staff reported the parcel is currently zoned AR and that the applicant seeks B‑2 zoning for a portion along the Highway 280 corridor; staff said that is generally consistent with the comprehensive plan.
City staff indicated the road appears to be public and that future development would require additional review, including overlay considerations near Highway 280 and Department of Transportation approvals for access. The commission voted to receive the request and asked the city clerk to set a public hearing at the next possible meeting.
