The Conservation Commission reviewed a request from the applicant for a certificate of compliance at 20 Henry Graff Road. The commission had previously issued a partial certificate covering the building and paved areas but had asked for documentation showing two years of invasive-species treatment and the status of planted wildflowers and trees.
At the commission's request, the applicant contracted Weston & Sampson; wetlands scientist Devin Herrick summarized the memorandum and noted that 2022–2023 treatments appeared compliant with the order of conditions, and that additional limited treatments took place in 2024–2025. Herrick said the site is not 95% free of invasives (notably phragmites) and recommended continued annual maintenance; he also reported a signed letter from the prospective new owner committing to ongoing maintenance.
Commissioners asked whether the planted wildflower mix and saplings survived two growing seasons and whether dated photographs or field notes could confirm survivability; staff noted the new memorandum had been uploaded that day and recommended a short postponement to allow review of the new documents and any dated photos. A motion to continue the hearing to March 17 passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
The commission asked the applicant to provide photo-dated evidence and the recently uploaded Weston & Sampson letter for review ahead of the next hearing.
