Board adopts Raptor Student Safe to centralize student behavior threat assessments

Dr. Cameron told the board that the district previously used a state contract product called "Inside," but the contract ended in September/October and the district had been keeping assessments in Google Docs. "Inside's gone away," he said. The Raptor Student Safe module will integrate with the district’s existing Raptor visitor-management and badge systems, allow behavior-threat assessment records to follow students across schools, and include training for users.
Dr. Cameron said the module will help the district be "proactive and preventative" and provide data and trend analysis. He also noted the vendor provides training as part of the implementation.
The board moved to approve the item, the motion was seconded, and approval was recorded by voice vote.
