Board directs RRMM to proceed with next phase of facility study focusing on options 3, 4 and 5

"Out of that joint work session ... the direction was for him to take the next steps and continue the facility study with options 3, 4, and 5," speaker 15 said. The board then made a motion to approve RRMM proceeding with that next phase and seconded the motion.
Board members noted the efficiency of the joint session and the shared concern between the board and supervisors. The motion passed and staff were directed to continue the facility study with the narrowed scope so RRMM can prepare the follow‑up deliverables for the board and the supervisors.
The facility study decision is linked to upcoming capital improvement planning; board discussion referenced coordinating with the Board of Supervisors on funding and potential caps should unexpended funds be redirected to the CIP fund.
