Lisa Mahall, Director of Real Estate and Engineering, asked the Schuylkill County Board of Commissioners to add Denise Donmoyer to a study committee after the Department of Conservation & Natural Resources recommended including a user‑group representative for the lake/Frog Hollow. Mahall also requested a larger reorganization of the Schuylkill County Comprehensive Park, Recreation and Open Space Plan study committee.
Mahall read a slate of proposed members the minutes record as: John Bondura (Schuylkill Headwaters), Mandy Fitzpatrick (Schuylkill County Connects), Regina Gargano (Explore Schuylkill), Jennifer Sliko (Audubon Mid‑Atlantic, Kittatinny Ridge Conservation Landscape), Kent Himelright (Schuylkill River Greenway Association), Mary Linkevich (Tamaqua Borough and Hawk Mountain), Kate McMahon (NEPA MPO), Craig Morgan (Friends of Schuylkill Parks and Recreation), Jessica Seiders (Schuylkill Haven Borough), Joshua Semanco (Blue Mountain Recreation Commission), Susan Smith (Schuylkill County Planning Director), Frank Snyder (Schuylkill County Conservancy), Tom Yashinsky (Schuylkill Chamber), a staff representative from the Schuylkill Chamber, a representative from Common Ground Community Gardners, and a representative from the City of Pottsville.
Mahall said the changes respond to a comment from DCNR about the committee composition and aim to include user‑group and municipal representation in the comprehensive plan process. The minutes do not record a recorded vote on the request during the work session; the item was presented for commissioner consideration.
