City council unanimously approves agenda, recesses into closed session

There were no public comments in the chamber and no requests from members of the public on the Zoom feed, so the council closed the public comment period without remarks.
The city attorney announced, “Pursuant to Government Code sections 54956.9(d)(1) and 54956.9(d)(2), the city council will now go into closed session to discuss the three items identified on the agenda.” The council then recessed the open meeting and entered closed session.
No substantive policy debate, staff presentations, public testimony, or votes on ordinances were recorded in the open session portion of the transcript. The council’s next public action will depend on any reports or items returned from the closed session.
