Planning Commission approves Prairie View Acres minor subdivision with signature corrections

The Lincoln County Planning Commission voted unanimously April 14 to approve File SU26-002, a minor subdivision in Prairie View Acres that will add approximately 1.26 acres to an existing 1.08-acre lot.
County Planner Judy Clark told commissioners the subdivision conforms to the Lincoln County Comprehensive Plan, the county's zoning regulations and subdivision regulations, and that the purchaser is aware that no new structure is allowed in the tower fall zone shown on the plat. Clark also noted there are errors on the plat's signature blocks that must be corrected before the package is presented to the Board of Commissioners.
Aaron Edwards moved to approve the subdivision with the corrections mentioned; Lee Davies seconded. A roll call vote recorded Roggow, Edwards, Davies, Moorhead, Boden and Friesen voting "Aye." The motion carried. Absent members were Pederson, Merritt, Miller, Flaming and Eickhoff.
The commission's approval is a recommendation to proceed with the corrected plat and does not replace the Board of Commissioners' final review; staff indicated the plat will be corrected and forwarded for the Board's consideration.
