Board unanimously approves application to seek up to $750,000 juvenile justice incentive grant

The presenter said parents are mandated to attend programming under the proposed service model and that services, if funded, would be provided through a contracted service provider.
"We can apply for up to $750,000," the presenter said, and added that there is no required county match. The presenter also noted staff are awaiting final approval to submit the application and that the precise award amount to request will be determined when application guidelines are released.
A motion to approve the application was made, seconded, and carried without dissent. Staff said they have the related RFP materials available for board members who requested them and will return with further detail if the application progresses to award stage.
