Laparus Metalworks Incorporated for Virtual Academy renovations (total shown as $940,514 including a base bid of $853,000 and a design fee of $87,514), multiple change orders including a $1,860.75 exterior painting change order, and a credit totaling $2,135,999.79 related to stadium repairs; one item carried with an abstention where noted.
"The superintendent will be authorized to sign all documents related to the renewal," the chair said when the insurance renewal was presented.
The meeting record lists the opinion of probable cost for a North La Rose Elementary hydraulic piping insulation project at $650,000 to be funded from the general fund; the board approved hiring Salis O'Brien Incorporated for that project to permit completion during summer break.
