Monona County supervisors approve routine business, authorize bids for snowplow trucks

Chairperson Bo Fox recorded that Supervisors Tom Brouillette and Vince Phillips were present and that Auditor Peggy A. Rolph attended. Brouillette moved to approve the meeting agenda; Fox seconded and the motion carried with Fox, Brouillette and Phillips voting aye.
During the meeting the board voted unanimously to solicit and accept quotes or bids for two dump/snowplow trucks after a Secondary Roads staff update; the motion was made by Supervisor Vince Phillips and seconded by Supervisor Tom Brouillette. The board also approved general county claims and approved two General Ledger journal entries to correct accounts — one affecting the drainage fund and one affecting the auditor’s records. Each accounting motion passed on unanimous votes.
The board approved minutes of Jan. 27 and 28, 2026, following a motion by Brouillette and a second from Fox. Chairperson Fox moved to adjourn at 11:41 a.m.; Brouillette seconded and the meeting ended with all three supervisors in favor.
The meeting record shows routine approvals and administrative housekeeping; no contentious motions or dissenting votes were recorded.
