Board approves consent items, early graduations, ESU contract and personnel changes

The board also approved an ESU 7 special education services contract for the upcoming school year. The contract was described as "just under a million dollars" at the time of approval; administrators noted there are three students on a waiting list for Bridges at ESU 7, and each such placement (with para support) could add approximately $44,000 per student, which may push the true spend above $1 million when placements are finalized.
Personnel actions included acceptance of two staff resignations and approval of at least one new teacher contract for David C. Elementary. All personnel motions were moved, seconded and carried by recorded vote.
No controversial roll-call votes or abstentions were recorded in the minutes presented at the meeting; all items were recorded as approved.
