The ISD 191 Board of Education unanimously approved revisions to the collective bargaining agreement with the Burnsville Principals Association at its March 26 meeting.
Stacy Sovine, executive director of administrative services, presented the recommendation and summarized the changes: removal of dated language, clarified holiday and emergency sick/safe-time provisions, addition of Minnesota Paid Family Leave language, and economics totaling approximately $254,000 over two years—a package Sovine described as ‘‘just under 5%’’ over the two-year period. Sovine said the unit contains 18 principals.
Director Saxi moved approval of the agreement and Director Worb seconded; the board voted in favor with the motion carrying unanimously. No roll-call tally of individual votes was read into the record during the segment. Sovine recommended the board readopt unchanged language in the 2527 master agreement and approve the proposed revisions.
The board took no further action beyond approving the agreement and then adjourned the meeting at 7:21 p.m.
