District presents career-and-academic plan, highlights better documentation and new goals

Presenters described Zello (an interest‑survey platform) and other tools used to help students track interests and guide course selection.
Board members asked questions about practical life‑skills instruction and how personal finance and job‑shadow requirements are incorporated; presenters said juniors are required to take personal finance and that the district requires a job shadow or college visit for juniors. The presenters emphasized that the DECAP process forced the district to catalog and coordinate existing efforts so staff can monitor implementation and improve continuity across grades.
