Resident reports repeated long electrical outages in parts of Mayfield Heights

Aaron Milroy addressed the council during public comment on March 23 to report repeated and prolonged electrical outages in parts of Mayfield Heights.
Milroy said he has tracked outages at his home since 2020 and that ‘‘Every year since 2020, I’ve lost power for 2 days or more, except for 2025. But 2026, I lost 5 days.’’ He said neighboring properties experience outages less frequently and asked the city to pursue explanations and solutions; he added that he had already communicated with the mayor, who indicated he would speak to the electrical representative.
Council members did not debate the matter during the meeting; the comment was recorded during the public comment period and the mayor indicated follow-up with the electrical representative would occur.
