The announcement emphasized a desire to balance transparency and legal obligations. "We remain committed to transparent governance, but we also must ensure that legally protected information and confidential personnel or student matters are handled appropriately," the speaker said. The change was presented as a response to prior incidents that the board said undermined its ability to operate "effectively, fairly, and in accordance with our legal responsibilities."
