The committee also discussed opening roadways for general use in the fall.
For Bear Hill Elementary School, the committee reported a credit change order of $10,831 for a tank determined unnecessary for the project. The projected substantial completion date for Bear Hill remains April 9, 2027. The committee reviewed options for a permanent school sign and favored a wooden sign as a lower-cost alternative to masonry.
The committee also reviewed three competitive solar grant applications for Bear Hill totaling $93,682 and are evaluating costs with and without the grants to determine the path forward for on-site solar.
