The Village of Oak Lawn Board of Trustees on March 10 approved a consent agenda that authorized a series of purchases and contracts and passed a disbursement resolution. The items included an ordinance to sell surplus equipment and multiple resolutions to waive bidding and award contracts for vehicles, radio equipment, IT services for the regional 911 dispatch center, landscaping, water-system design, and a three-year online credit-card processor agreement.
The vote carried after a motion and second; roll call recorded Trustee Stalker, Trustee Malow, Trustee Penrook and Trustee Olan as voting "Yes," and the chair declared the items passed. Among the items read into the record were Ordinance 26-05-13 (sale of surplus equipment), Resolution 26-05-20 (purchase of a 2026 Ford Transit cargo van from Napleton Ford, not to exceed $51,320.31), Resolution 26-05-21 (waiving bidding and approving a proposal from Wonderlitch and Melik to replace legacy radio equipment for the Oaklan Regional Water System, not to exceed $151,185), Resolution 26-05-22 (IT services for the Oklahoma Regional Emergency Communication 911 dispatch center, June 1, 2026–May 31, 2027, not to exceed $198,000), Resolution 26-05-23 (landscaping contract, not to exceed $98,920), and a design-services proposal from Farnsworth Worth Group for the water-system redundancy project not to exceed $831,700.
The board also approved Disbursement Resolution 2026-05D in the amount of $11,991,993.50 on a subsequent roll call (Trustee Stalker, Trustee Penrook, Trustee Olanichek, Trustee Mow recorded as "Yes"). The clerk read each consent-item description into the record before the motion was taken; no items were removed for separate consideration.
Trustees and staff did not elaborate further on the contracts during the public meeting; the board then proceeded to scheduled executive-session business. Documentation for each ordinance and resolution remains a matter of public record with the village clerk.
