Commissioners authorize funds to advance phase two of 2550 South project

Weber County commissioners voted March 24 to authorize the next funding tranche for phase two of the 2550 South corridor project.

Transportation planner Brooke Stewart told the commission that phase two runs from 4300 West to 4700 West and that the resolution authorizes funds identified on the county and WFRC 2025 transportation priority list. "Phase two, which runs from 4300 West to 4700 West, is in the early stages of right-of-way acquisition," Stewart said. The resolution (13-2026) provides the final portion of funding needed for the phase to proceed with acquisition and design.
