• Public Works sidewalk orders: Council approved additional sidewalk orders for Contract 2601 (606 Eastern Avenue) and Contract 2602 (217 Heather Drive) so repairs can be completed as part of street reconstruction projects.
• Contract award — Main Street right‑of‑way services: The council awarded Quote 2601 for real estate services (appraisal and negotiation) for the Main Street Reconstruction project to Southern Wisconsin Appraisal in the amount of $51,100.
• Grant acceptance — T‑CPR funds: The council accepted and appropriated a Wisconsin TCPR grant for $3,182.39 to cover annual emergency medical dispatch certification for the department’s 12 dispatchers (Resolution No. 63).
• Fee schedule amendments: The council adopted fee changes for Community Development and Building Inspection, including an $800 fee for land‑use amendment applications and publishing state commercial plan‑review fees in the local schedule (no change to state fee amounts).
• Contract renewal and developer agreement: Council approved a four‑year renewal with e‑Plan Exam for commercial plan review and approved a developer agreement for Kingsfisher Hollow subdivision; the developer will install road and utility improvements at its cost and dedicate them to the city.
• Ordinance amendment to boards & commissions: Council adopted Ordinance No. 27 to change certain appointment terms (reducing selected five‑year terms to three years for the airport commission and redevelopment authority to align with other boards).
• EMS addendum with Village of Kiwasam: Council approved Addendum No. 1 to the Kiwasam EMS service agreement to list a cost figure required for state innovation grant eligibility. Council and staff said that if the village obtains the grant the service agreement term would extend to meet the grant condition (a six‑year term), removing an earlier early‑out provision.
• Recognition of citizens: Police staff highlighted multiple instances of citizen action that aided public safety, including a credited AED/CPR rescue at Vortex Pickle Ball. As Captain Rowling recounted, “The quick and decisive action of both Patrick and Tracy … saved the man’s life.”
