Nicholas Alzakis, director of communications for Waukegan CUSD 60, said the designation recognizes the chapter's achievements; he added that WHS is the only school in Illinois to receive the honor this year and that the chapter will be represented at the national conference in Atlanta in June. "Congratulations to the students and staff involved," Alzakis said.
