A public safety representative announced the annual Red Cross "Battle of the Badges" blood drive on Feb. 24, 2026, at the Montclair Senior Center; donors were directed to redcrossblood.org and asked to search for the Montlair PD to schedule appointments.
City staff reported that abatement of fire debris had begun at a former Calvera site after the property owner failed to comply with a notice of abatement, and that Union Pacific has begun installing a wall along the Pomona side of town to reduce trespassing and theft along the rail corridor. The city manager also said a special meeting to review the budget is scheduled for Monday, March 2 at 5:30 p.m.
