At its Feb. 9 meeting the La Habra Heights City Council accepted completion of the Hosienda Road and Avocado Crest traffic-signal and striping project and approved the associated change orders. Staff reported the original contract was approximately $946,487 and eight change orders totaled roughly $73,124; the change orders remained within the project's contingency. Staff has submitted reimbursement requests under the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) grant.
