Hudson board approves $913,210.60 in payments, authorizes masonry repairs and advances property-disposition policy

The board also approved a contract with Advanced Masonry Restoration for brick-veneer and exterior-envelope repairs at North Hudson in the amount of $28,512.33 after reviewing four competitive bids and staff recommendations. "We appreciate that we are staying up and on top of our repairs as they come along," said Molly, a trustee.
Trustees approved a first reading of revised policy 690, removing a reference to a nonexistent policy and aligning property-disposition language with state statute and the district's attorney recommendations; the first reading passed by voice vote.
At the end of the open session, a board member moved to convene a closed session under Wisconsin statute 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate offers to purchase Holton Elementary and the UYU property; the board voted to enter closed session on a roll call that recorded trustees casting affirmative votes. The meeting adjourned into closed session and did not return to open session.
No final property-sale decisions were made in open session.
