• Hiring of contract personnel: After recessing for closed session under Texas Government Code Chapter 551 (sections 071, 072, 074 and 076), the board returned and Mr. Linker moved to approve the hiring of contract personnel as presented by administration; Mr. Cavender seconded and the motion passed (recorded as five members voting and none opposed at that point in the meeting).
